Lava Jigsaw v1.4.1 released! Fixes and enhancements in this version:


  1. •a splash screen is displayed as the app loads

  2. •the number inside the spinner indicates download progress

  3. •there is no need to 'purchase' free collections before download

  4. •'All' collections is selected when the store is first displayed

  5. •'Start tray with edge pieces' checkbox is set by default to true

  6. •fixed: memory issue when playing large puzzles (over 910 pieces)

  7. •fixed: occasionally the download spinner was not cleared

Lava Jigsaw v1.4.0 released! Fixes and enhancements in this version:


  1. •voucher codes can now be redeemed to get free puzzle credits!

  2. •players can issue Free4Friends vouchers to new players for credits

  3. •players can generate SingleUse vouchers using puzzle points for credits

  4. •a Free4All voucher is issued monthly, giving all players a free credit

  5. •a news ticker has been added, which displays news and Free4All vouchers

  6. •the store scrolling and item touch controls have been greatly improved

  7. •fixed: currency symbols other than dollars are now displayed correctly

  8. •fixed: last piece now clicks into place before the complete sequence begins

  9. •fixed: Facebook permissions now allow players to share posts with everyone

  10. •fixed: puzzle data now transfers correctly when a user upgrades to a new iPad

  11. •fixed: various issues preventing play were fixed on the iPad Air

  2. •the spinner now spins when collection detail puzzle pictures are downloading

  3. •on first launch, all collections in the store are displayed, not just new ones

  4. •the screen orientation when playing can now be set to horizontal only

Lava Jigsaw v1.1.1 released! Fixes and enhancements in this version:


  1. •completed puzzles can be shared on Facebook, Twitter and email, or in photos

  2. •the list of fully completed puzzles is now sorted by completion date

  3. •the startup time and time to load the store has been substantially reduced

  4. •fixed: the two-finger 'group select' gesture ignores touches on the bottom control area Reloading puzzle now fixes this.

  5. •fixed: zooming out on very large puzzles could make the pieces disappear

  6. •fixed: on some rare occasions, touching a piece in the tray would cause a group to be lifted

  7. •fixed: pictures of new collections in store may not dynamically update properly

  8. •fixed: on very first launch, store may not load correctly and require an app restart

Lava Jigsaw v1.0.3 released! Fixes and enhancements in this version:


  1. •amount of zoom reduced slightly to improve view

  2. •maximum puzzle size set to 910 pcs on iPad 2 due to memory limitations

  3. •fixed: battery going flat during gameplay could corrupt a puzzle's data

  4. •fixed: rare touch combinations can move a group outside the viewable area. Reloading puzzle now fixes this.

  5. •fixed: sometimes the boxtop would not be downloaded before play was enabled

  6. •fixed: download bar didn't always show 100% when downloading was complete

Lava Jigsaw v1.0.2 released! Fixes and enhancements in this version:


  1. •enhanced update of store (puzzle library), so it is refreshed whenever the user starts / returns to Lava Jigsaw (ie. wake from sleep). If the puzzle library file has been updated, the store screen also updates when the 'Store' button pressed. In this case, the store screen is displayed after the update, rather than the puzzle list. Period between puzzle library file downloads has been set to 30 mins, and if the file is found not be changed, the file is deleted and thus ignored.

  2. •fix for 12.45am issue (when it should say 12.45pm). Ditto for 12.45pm, which should say 12.45am.

  3. •fix for 2xblue line problem on the puzzle info screen

  4. •fix for when test puzzle list has puzzles not in the released library when running in non-test mode

  5. •fix for when there is only 1 puzzle in the collection (removed plural 'puzzles')

We've just added some fun new collections: Grand Castles ( includes first 1000+ pcs puzzle! ), Puppies, and Frozen Landscapes. New collections should become visible after playing a puzzle and returning to the title screen, though the library update may sometimes take a few hours to come through (depending on your Internet connection).
